Over 11,000 people booked a night out on the lash last month with a system that I helped build. On the one hand: yes, my job is relevant to people’s everyday lives, the tools I build are useful.
On the other: could I not maybe have done something better with my time than enabling the mass consumption of fighting juice and tart fuel in late night drinking holes?
